The Korpo Whiskey Society is a membership club for Archipelago Whiskey Aficionados', connecting international persons to the largest archipelago in the world, - with Korpo island and Fagerholm Island in Finland as their main meeting point.

We provide our members with an adventurous and fun journey of discovery of the world's collection of whiskies, enjoyed both in Korpo island and Fagerholm Island, as well at the Society’s Tours to key Whiskey regions and Distilleries around the world.

Presently, the Society is presently in possession of approximately 200 different Whiskey's, and the collection is growing. The Society members invest in selected distilleries’ casks, which form a long-term base for the Society members tastings in years to come. The collection is in active use by the members during the tasting events it organizes.

The Korpo Whiskey Society is a place where like-minded people can come together to share stories, create good things, share news and experiences, and coordinate joint meetings, dinners, events, tours and tastings.

The Korpo Whiskey Society is dedicated to the enjoyment of aged distilled products. We actively communicate, encourage and act all our members to drink responsibly. All member shall support each other not to drink in excess and focus on enjoying Whiskey tastings. Our members include some serious whiskey Aficionados', as well as people who want to enjoy themselves in our company.

The Korpo Whiskey Society activities started in 2009 and was thereafter formalized as an registered society in 2016 by “friends of the Korpo archipelago”, who found they all shared a serious interest in whiskey culture. Since then, the Korpo Whiskey Society has expanded its membership and become known to many whiskey distilleries, to where we organize Whiskey Tours, though it remains as a private membership club.

The Korpo Whiskey Society aim to bring its members closer to the World of Whiskey, with tours to distilleries, networks with master distillers, whiskey education, private whiskey tasting dinners, and tasting events as key activities in the Society.

Our goal is to create a strong community of whiskey aficionados that share our positive outlook on life and the future.

Our target is in keeping whiskey fun, fair, and honest, as a responsible way to enjoy distilled products.

Each member plan to host regular Whiskey tastings to ensure the regular meetings of the members and share knowledge and experiences of Whiskey.

Korpo Whiskey Society builds networks for its members and key distilleries and whiskey stakeholders. Selected distilleries, which the members visit during their Whiskey Tours, are invited to become partners in Korpo Whiskey Society’s global network.

Korpo Whiskey Society rf is a member of the Pro-Korpo association, supporting the development of a vital and active interaction between archipelago and Korpo friends, as well as promoting archipelago culture, life and enjoyments.

Michael has been a member of the Korpo Whiskey Society since 2016.

His has a soft spot for single malts and his clear favourite whiskey’s are: Tobermory, Macallan, Balvenie, Talisker.

His favourite is Tobermory.

Michael Rosenlew

Tomppa has been a member of the Korpo Whiskey Society since 2016.

He has a soft spot for the following whiskey’s: Balvenie, Glenfiddich, Macallan, Black Dog (Indian whiskey). His favorite is Balvenie.

Tomppa is also funding the Society Casks at Kyrö Distillery and Teerenpeli nr 2.

Tom Mohn

Sandra Koivurinta has been a board member since 2016.

After attending the Speyside whisky tour where she found a great passion for MacAllen, Balvenie and Cardhu whiskies.

She especially enjoys whiskies matured in sherry or port casks. Her favorite at the moment is the Ben Nevis 21 year old matured in a Ruby port cask.

Sandra Koivurinta

Micke has been a member of the Korpo Whiskey Society since 2009. He is a co-founder of the Society and acts as the Society’s vice-chairman.
He has a soft spot for the following whiskey’s; Johnny Walker, Glenfiddich, Macallan, Pappy Van Winkle.
His staple Whiskeys are Johnny Walker Blue and Macallan Estate Reserve.
Micke is also funding the Society Casks at Teerenpeli Distillery nr1 and nr2 and Kyrö Distillery.

Alf Mikael Hilden

Janne has been a member of the Korpo Whiskey Society since 2009. He is a co-founder of the Society and acts as the Society’s chairman.

He has a soft spot for the following whiskey’s: Talisker, Glenfiddich, Lagavulin, Pappy Van Winkle. His staple Whiskey is Johnny Walker Blue.

Janne is also funding the Society Casks at Teerenpeli Distillery, – nr1 & nr 2 and Kyrö Distillery.
